Thomas Marshall Gaines

 Thomas Marshall Gaines died of cancer at his home in Vallican, British Columbia, on Friday, July 16, 2004. Born in San Antonio on March 19, 1956 to James and Eugenia Gaines, he left Texas after graduating from MacArthur High School for the wilds of the Pacific Northwest. A builder and adventurer by nature, he was a registered professional biologist and cartographer. Please make memorial donations to the Nature Conservancy.
