Stephen Scott Lewis, 48, of Corpus Christi, Texas went to his eternal rest on Sunday, October 3, 2004 at home surrounded by his loving family after a long illness. Scott was born on May 23, 1956 in Tucson, Arizona to James Oliver Lewis and Marian Cowden Lewis. He graduated from Phillips University with a Bachelor of Arts. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Scott, a Christian, cherished his family and was so grateful for all his blessings.He was preceded in death by his father, James Oliver Lewis.He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Yolanda Galvan Lewis; sons: Jeremy Scott Lewis of Corpus Christi, Texas, Sean Lewis Cortinovis of Tujunga, California; daughter, and the apple of his eye, Krystal Nicole Lewis of Corpus Christi, Texas; mother, Marian Cowden Lewis of San Antonio, Texas; brother William Wood (Caroline) Lewis of Richardson, Texas; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces.Christ has no body now but yours no hands, no feet on earth but yours. Yours are the eyes through which he looks, compassion on this world. Yours are the feet with which he walks to do good. Yours are the hands with which he blesses all the world. Yours are the hands, yours are the feet, yours are the eyes. You are his body.
